The NY logo of the New York Yankees has become a unique symbol all by itself reaching a far wider audience than people who love baseball or people who even ever saw a baseball match at all. It is quite fascinating to philosophy why and how this is or came to be. Part of it is of course the very strong recognizable logo itself and a part of it is just New York and everything it stands for. Without a doubt one of the most well known and aspired cities in the world.
New York Yankees apparel is most commonly seen in caps in all size and shapes and of course the jackets. There are tons of fakes an cheap knock off's out there, but this one is a very very original piece. It is made by Felco from New York and this brand was one of the earliest companies to produce team jackets. Starter is a very famous successor to this brand, but Felco is older and in that sense even more original. This jacket is in an extremely good condition and can be dated to (we think) early 1990s.
