This hat is modelled after a US Army 1930s Daisy Mae hat. This hat was originally issued to the CCC The Civilian Conservation Corps that operated from 1933 to 1942 in the U.S. as part of the New Deal for the aunemployed, and later used during WWII as the barracks working denim outfit. The hat was originally made from denim with contrasting white stitching or green herringbone twill. These modern replica's are made according to the original pattern but sport a variety of different colors. This version is done in one of the most well known camo patterns the Woodland pattern that matches well with everything really.
